Round 2 "Poyel" stuffs a shot from Gallegos and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Henry Spencer defends a triangle attempt, throwing Gallegoss straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Poncho is able to hold him to half guard. "Poyel" attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Poncho Gallegos gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Poncho Gallegos hits an upward elbow on Spencer, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Spencer takes side control. Henry lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 3 Gallegos tries to hyperextend the knee of "Poyel" with a kick to the kneecap. "Poyel" hops back to avoid it. Poncho Gallegos connects with a strong right hook. Henry connects with numerous jabs to the face of Gallegos. Spencer connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Spencer is staggered by a jab to the chin. Henry Spencer tries to hyperextend the knee of Poncho Gallegos with a kick to the kneecap. Poncho Gallegos hops back to avoid it. Poncho Gallegos lands a double jab. Poncho parries Henry Spencers jab and connect with a cross. Henry Spencer begins a combination but Poncho Gallegos ducks down, picking Henrys leg. Poncho Gallegos lifts Henrys leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Poncho Gallegos lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Henry circling away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Poncho lands some solid knees to the legs of "Poyel" from the clinch. "Poyel" works Poncho Gallegos into the cage from the clinch. "Poyel" presses his head under Ponchos chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Poncho Gallegos escapes the clinch and creates some distance. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Poncho connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Poyel". Poncho keeps Henry at a distance with some well timed jabs. Round 5 Poncho hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Henry Spencer hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Gallegos connects with jab cross combination. The fighters circle each other. Henry Spencer grabs for a clinch but Gallegos grazes him with an uppercut. Henry Spencer staggers back, then surprises Gallegos with a powerful superman punch. Gallegos misses with an axe kick that has Henry back up. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Round 5 is finished.
