Round 1
"Contortrix" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Haugen. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Contortrix" uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Benjamin Haugen attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "Contortrix" parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Benjamin Haugen follows with a falling punch into Cooks guard. Haugen tries to pass guard but Cook stops him with a well timed punch. "Contortrix" grabs the arm of Benjamin while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Haugen forces "Contortrixs" leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Greg connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Benjamin Haugen. Cook presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Benjamin, aggressively pulling guard. "Contortrix" pulls Haugen close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Benjamin keeps his head down in guard to gather energy. Greg uses the strength of his legs to sweep him over to his back. Greg now has full mount. Greg punishes Haugen with a series of strikes from the mount. Benjamin Haugen bucks off Cook and gives up his back but Cook is too quick and locks in a tight choke.
