Round 1 Kalil parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Ren follows with a falling punch into Kalils guard. Ren pushes down Kalils leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Goh Ren drops an elbow onto the forehead of Kalil. Ren slips out of half guard and into side control. Kalil takes a few knees to the body while under Rens side control. Goh moves to north-south position. Herod begins to roll out from under Goh but Goh is able scramble to Herods back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ren hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Herod pushes Goh into the cage. Goh works a whizzer and attempts to turn Herod but Herod illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee is not in postition to see it. Two short elbows from the clinch put Goh Ren off balance. Kalil holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. Kalil Herod grinds his forearm into the face of Ren while holding him into the cage. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kalil locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Goh Ren. A strong elbow forces Goh Ren to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Kalil Herod hovers over Goh Ren pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Goh Ren sends a hard up kick that rocks Kalil Herod. Goh Ren stands back up. Goh connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Goh Ren locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Herod. Ren receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Herod. Kalil throws a solid knee to the jaw of Goh. Kalil is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Goh connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Kalil Herod tries to hyperextend the knee of Goh with a kick to the kneecap. Goh hops back to avoid it. Herod snaps back the head of Ren with a stiff jab. Kalil Herod connects with a series of punches forcing Ren into a clinch. Ren works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Goh Ren gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Ren works to Herods back while standing. Ren throws a couple of outside shots until Herod is able to work his way back to the clinch. Ren grabs the plum and pulls Kalils face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Ren lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Herod attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee. Goh Ren presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Herod to the mat. Goh Ren stands back and waves Herod up. Kalil starts to put on the pressure, forcing Goh back into the cage. Kalil takes advantage and clinches. Goh grabs the plum and pulls Herods face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Goh releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Ren is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Kalil tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Ren that puts him on the floor. Ren grabs a foot and kicks at Kalil Herods thighs. He then backs off and Kalil Herod stands back up. Round 5 comes to a close.
