Round 1

Round 3
Trip parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Juanito follows with a falling punch into Trips guard. Trip Marshbanks keeps his head down in the chest of Juanito to avoid any submission attempts. Trip Marshbanks leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Juanito Cervantes takes advantage of a mental laps from Trip Marshbanks and moves into full mount. Cervantes telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Trip gives up his back to stop the attempt. "el Fantasma" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Trip starts to wiggle out of back control, Juanito Cervantes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Marshbanks connects with a series of punches forcing Cervantes into a clinch. Juanito Cervantes attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Marshbankss strikes. Juanito blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Trip tries to press the action but is met with a jab, cross, uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Juanito Cervantes kicks at the legs of Marshbanks and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Marshbanks to stand. Juanito Cervantes connects with a right that puts Trip Marshbanks off balance tumbling to the mat, as Juanito Cervantes towers over him. Cervantes stands over Trip Marshbanks, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Trip Marshbanks cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. "el Fantasma" kicks at the legs of Marshbanks and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Marshbanks to stand. Juanito Cervantes counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Marshbanks hits an uppercut to the head of Juanito Cervantes followed by a hard hook. The round comes to an end.
