Round 1 Mikkelsen just misses with a head kick, grazing Egamis skull. Egami executes a single leg giving him the back of Oscar. Yoichi Egami works his arm around the neck of Oscar attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Oscar hand fights well. Oscar slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Oscar Mikkelsen throws a hard jab but Yoichi throws a cross right over the top rocking Oscar Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen keeps Egami at a distance with some well timed jabs. Mikkelsen lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Egami circling away. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Mikkelsen hits an uppercut to the head of Yoichi followed by a hard hook. Oscar Mikkelsen hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Egami. Oscar lands a double jab. Oscar Mikkelsen attempts a striking combination, but Yoichi Egami forces the clinch. Egami receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Oscar. Yoichi throws a solid knee to the jaw of Oscar. Egami is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Yoichi leans into Mikkelsen wearing him down. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Yoichi connects with a hard punch making Oscar Mikkelsen bring him in to a tight clinch. Mikkelsen works to Yoichi Egamis back while standing. Mikkelsen throws a couple of outside shots until Yoichi is able to work his way back to the clinch. The ref breaks the action as Egami is too inactive holding Mikkelsen in the clinch. The action is restarted with the fighters separated. Mikkelsen chips away at Yoichi Egami with a series of kicks to the legs. Egami locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Mikkelsen. Yoichi Egami connects a few knees to the upper torso of Oscar Mikkelsen. Oscar works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Two short elbows from the clinch put Oscar off balance. Yoichi holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Yoichi locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Oscar. Yoichi Egami is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Oscar grabs the plum and pulls Yoichi Egamis face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Oscar lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Yoichi lands a double jab. Yoichi Egami winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Oscar lands a hook to the body. Egami is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Mikkelsen explodes with a flurry of punches. Egami is then thrown to the floor. Oscar Mikkelsen lays into Yoichi with some stomps. Yoichi can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
