Round 1
Gao keeps Powell at a distance with some well timed jabs. Chiam Gao keeps "Johnson" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Gao throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Powell is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Gao dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. "Johnson" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Chiam connects with jab cross combination. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
"Melee Malay" throws a cross that easily dodged by Ahamad Powell. Powell lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. "Johnson" dodges a jab and clinches with "Melee Malay", delivering a knee as he does so. Gao tries to find his distance but Ahamad is able to land two looping hooks that stun Gao, who warily backs away. Ahamad Powell dodges a series of strikes from Chiam Gao and counters with a body shot and cross. Ahamad Powell then backs up and wags a finger at Chiam Gao. Both fighters begin to exchange Ahamad Powell catches Chiam Gao with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Chiam Gao gather himself. Chiam Gao says he is ok and the fight continues. Ahamad stuffs a shot from "Melee Malay" and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
"Johnson" dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Chiam Gao. "Melee Malay" takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Ahamad. Chiam connects with a jab cross combination. Chiam throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from "Johnson". Ahamad snaps back the head of Chiam with a stiff jab. "Melee Malay" parries Ahamad Powells jab and connect with a cross. "Melee Malay" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Ahamad circles Chiam, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Chiam parries Powells jab and connect with a cross. "Melee Malay" lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Ahamad switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of "Melee Malay". The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 4
A welt begins to form under "Johnsons" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Chiam Gao. Chiam connects with a strong body shot combo. A wild hook from Ahamad is ducked by Gao who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Ahamad Powell feints and follows up with a hard cross. Chiam Gao stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. A wild hook from Chiam Gao is ducked by Ahamad who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Powell counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Ahamad Powell misses with an axe kick that has "Melee Malay" back up. "Melee Malay" dodges a jab and clinches with Powell, delivering a knee as he does so. Ahamad Powell connects with a teep to the face of "Melee Malay". "Melee Malay" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. "Johnson" takes advantage of the moment taking side control.Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Ahamad Powell peppers Chiam Gao with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Chiam Gao throws a crisp jab, but Ahamad Powell slips it and moves in for the clinch. Chiam Gao drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Johnson" sets a guillotine choke but Chiam Gao slips out at the last moment. Chiam Gao is now caught in guard. Chiam sits up in Powells open guard and spins to an leg lock. Ahamad Powell is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Chiam tries to hyperextend the knee of Ahamad Powell with a kick to the kneecap. Ahamad Powell hops back to avoid it. Ahamad pushes away from Chiam Gao and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
