Round 1 Aldrich Firmin hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Lawson. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lawson drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Aldrich sets a guillotine choke but Lawson slips out at the last moment. Lawson is now caught in guard. Aldrich attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Peter connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Firmin hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Firmin narrowly dodges a cross from Lawson, but falls catching him in his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Peter throws a teep backing Aldrich Firmin off. Lawson dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Aldrich Firmin. Lawson catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Firmin. Peter Lawson kicks at the legs of Aldrich Firmin and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Aldrich Firmin to stand. Peter Lawson parries Aldrich Firmins jab and lands an uppercut that floors Aldrich. Firmin thrusts his leg into Lawsons knee while grounded. Lawson cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Aldrich Firmin back to his feet. Lawson connects with a hard jab as Firmin attempts a wide outside hook. Peter attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Aldrich takes advantage of the moment taking side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Aldrich Firmin attempts to clinch, but Peter Lawson connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Aldrich connects with a hard punch making Lawson bring him in to a tight clinch. Aldrich Firmin works to Peter Lawsons back while standing. Aldrich Firmin throws a couple of outside shots until Lawson is able to work his way back to the clinch. Peter Lawson fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Aldrich Firmin up for a flurry of hooks. Aldrich Firmin swaying back and forth with Balanco spins and throws up a hooking Gancho kick to the head of Lawson knocking him down and out of the fight.
