Round 1 Nobu attempts to press in but Evan uses a inside reaping to put Nobu on the canvas. Evan hops to side control. Evan slides his knee across the body of Nobu Kogo and takes full mount. Nobu Kogo attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Kogo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Evan peppers "Sengoku Power" with several shots to the face. Wiuff works his arm around the neck of Nobu Kogo attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Nobu Kogo hand fights well. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Wiuff throws a few jabs at Nobu that miss the mark. A trip to the ground allows Nobu to move into the guard of Evan. "Sengoku Power" frees a leg and moves into half guard. Evan pulls the foot in of Nobu using leverage to sweep him into side control. Evan throws his knee into the ribs of Nobu. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Wiuff connects with a right that puts Nobu off balance tumbling to the mat, as Wiuff towers over him. Wiuff drops a huge strike to Nobus chin, landing into his guard. Evan Wiuff tries to pass guard but Nobu Kogo stops him with a well timed punch. Evan squeezes his knee through the closed guard of Nobu and advances to mount with a knee through pass. Evan maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Kogo gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Evan lays into Kogo with some strong shots forcing Kogo to give up mount position. Kogo bucks off Evan Wiuff and both fighters get to their feet. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Evan works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Sengoku Power" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Wiuff sets a guillotine choke but "Sengoku Power" slips out at the last moment. "Sengoku Power" is now caught in guard. Evan keeps his head down in the chest of "Sengoku Power" to avoid any submission attempts. Evan leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Evan grabs the arm of Kogo while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Evan Wiuff attempts to lock an omoplata, but Nobu Kogo is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Wiuff grabs an overhook and lock his hands together wrenching the shoulder of Nobu Kogo from in guard. Nobu Kogo taps from the pain.
