Round 1 Austin catches a leg kick from Gallegos, and puts him on the mat. Poncho fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Hall. Hall passes through Gallegoss guard into mount. Austin telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Gallegos gives up his back to stop the attempt. Austin Hall tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Gallegos starts to wiggle out of back control, Austin Hall lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Austin connects with a hard punch making Gallegos bring him in to a tight clinch. Poncho Gallegos attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Austin Halls strikes. Poncho takes Austin Halls back standing. Hall isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Poncho lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Hall to release. Hall connects with a right that puts Poncho off balance tumbling to the mat, as Hall towers over him. Hall throws a short kick to the downed Poncho. Poncho takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Round 2 Poncho Gallegos parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Austin Hall follows with a falling punch into Ponchos guard. Austin Hall tries to pass guard but Poncho Gallegos stops him with a well timed punch. Hall takes advantage of a mental laps from Poncho Gallegos and moves into full mount. Hall telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Poncho Gallegos gives up his back to stop the attempt. Austin works his arm around the neck of Poncho attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Poncho hand fights well. Poncho Gallegos starts to wiggle out of back control, Austin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Poncho attempts to grab the plum but is hit by an aggressive uppercut from Hall. Hall fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Poncho up for a flurry of hooks. Poncho Gallegos is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Austin explodes forward with a superman punch that drops Poncho Gallegos to the canvas. Poncho Gallegos thrusts his leg into Austin Halls knee while grounded. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Poncho Gallegos connects with a jab cross combination. Austin Hall snaps back the head of Gallegos with a stiff jab. Poncho weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Hall blocks a tight hook from Poncho Gallegos and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Poncho Gallegos stumbling backwards. Hall stalks him across the canvas. Austin Hall throws huge bombs that catch nothing but air. Poncho connects with a jab cross combination. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Gallegos lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Hall circles Poncho, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Austin Hall parries Ponchos jab and connect with a cross. Gallegos chips away at Austin with a series of kicks to the legs. Austin connects with a strong body shot combo. Gallegos is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Hall explodes forward with a superman punch that drops Gallegos to the canvas. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Gallegos connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gallegos throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Hall puts Gallegos on the mat giving his back up. Round 5 is finished.
