Round 1 "Air Raid" tries to hyperextend the knee of Jay with a kick to the kneecap. Jay hops back to avoid it. Farmer connects with a hard punch making Haynes bring him in to a tight clinch. Len Farmer attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Jay who lands in his guard. Jay sits up in "Air Raids" open guard and spins to an leg lock. Len Farmer is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Haynes throws a strike that Len slips and then uses a Kosoto Gake trip and falls into Jays guard. Jay Haynes connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Jay Haynes starts to lock a triangle. "Air Raid" postures up and starts to stand up. Jay Haynes lands a stiff upkick, slumping "Air Raid" back into his guard. Haynes works the rubber guard on Len, eventually allowing an omaplata to be set in. Len quickly taps out.
