Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Benjamin is staggered by a jab to the chin. Haugen throws a cross that easily dodged by Aldrich. Firmin just misses with a head kick, grazing Benjamin Haugens skull. Aldrich Firmin shuffles away from Benjamins strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Benjamin backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. A trip to the ground allows Aldrich Firmin to move into the guard of Benjamin Haugen. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Firmin connects with a hard punch making Benjamin bring him in to a tight clinch. Firmin throws a solid knee to the jaw of Benjamin Haugen. Aldrich Firmin escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Aldrich Firmin circles Benjamin Haugen, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Firmin parries Haugens jab and connect with a cross. After dodging a jab-cross, Aldrich Firmin lands a kick to the liver of Haugen who steps back and begins to take a knee. Aldrich Firmin rushes forward to capitalize but Haugen stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Firmin is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Benjamin Haugen tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Firmin that puts him on the floor. Aldrich Firmin lays into Haugens thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Benjamin Haugen does so. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Benjamin slips a cross from Firmin and lands jab cross to the body. Aldrich throws a teep backing Benjamin Haugen off. Firmin throws a kick to the midsection of Benjamin Haugen. Benjamin slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Aldrich. Aldrich circles Benjamin, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Firmin catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Benjamin. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Aldrich dodges a jab-cross combo from Haugen and connects with a front snap kick, sending Haugen stumbling backwards. Aldrich Firmin throws an axe kick that misses the target. Benjamin Haugen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Aldrich Firmin circles Benjamin Haugen, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Haugen connects with numerous jabs to the face of Aldrich Firmin. Aldrich throws a teep backing Benjamin Haugen off. Aldrich throws a few jabs at Benjamin Haugen that miss the mark. After dodging a jab-cross, Aldrich lands a kick to the liver of Benjamin who steps back and begins to take a knee. Aldrich rushes forward to capitalize but Benjamin stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Firmin lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Benjamin. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Benjamin Haugen wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Aldrich Firmin. Round 5 is finished.
