Round 1
Duval connects with a jab cross combination. "Garter Snake" connects with a series of punches forcing Christian into a clinch. Cherry works to Duvals back while standing. Cherry throws a couple of outside shots until Christian Duval is able to work his way back to the clinch. Cherry decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Duval with him. A kimura attempt from Cherry is countered by a punch from Christian Duval, who then transitions to half guard. "Garter Snake" uses butterfly guard to get Christian Duval back into his guard. "Garter Snake" starts to lock a triangle. Christian postures up and starts to stand up. "Garter Snake" lands a stiff upkick, slumping Christian back into his guard. "Garter Snake" lands an omoplata but Christian Duval rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 2
Greg connects with a series of punches forcing Christian Duval into a clinch. Greg ducks under to the back of Duval and hops up getting both hooks in. Greg applies a deep choke. Duval fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Christian takes the back of Greg Cherry who works for a kimura. Christian pulls his arm out of the hold and push Greg Cherry away. Christian Duval shoots a takedown from a distance putting Greg Cherry on the ground. "Garter Snake" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Garter Snake" pulls Christian close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. "Garter Snake" attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Christian Duval slips out at the last moment. Duval is caught in a triangle while in Cherrys guard. He struggles but cannot get out. He eventually taps.
