Round 1

Round 2
Munakata throws a few jabs at Greg that miss the mark. Cherry connects with a strong body shot combo. Greg Cherry connects with a strong body shot combo. Greg Cherry uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Greg Cherry sits up in Munakatas open guard and spins to an leg lock. Munakata is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. "Garter Snake" presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Yukio Munakata, aggressively pulling guard. "Garter Snake" fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Munakata. Cherry lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Greg Cherry starts to lock a triangle. Yukio Munakata postures up and starts to stand up. Greg Cherry lands a stiff upkick, slumping Yukio Munakata back into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
A trip to the ground allows Munakata to move into the guard of Cherry. Cherry keeps his head down in the chest of Yukio Munakata to avoid any submission attempts. Cherry leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. While in the guard, Munakata drops a long punch. Greg Cherry throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Munakata has no choice but to submit.
