Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The King of the Ring" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Emanuel Ahrens takes Salemis back standing. Zayar isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Emanuel Ahrens lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Zayar to release. "Grand" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Zayar Salemi opens up on Emanuel with frequent peppering strikes. Zayar Salemi ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Grand" lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Emanuel Ahrens. Zayar connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ahrens is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Zayar prepares to pounce, but Ahrens gets his bearings just in time. Zayar throws a short kick to the downed Emanuel. Emanuel takes the chance to rise back to his feet. "The King of the Ring" is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Zayar Salemi stands over "The King of the Ring", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "The King of the Ring" cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Salemi lays into "The King of the Rings" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Emanuel Ahrens does so. Zayar Salemi feints and follows up with a hard cross. Emanuel Ahrens stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Zayar Salemi connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. A wild hook from Emanuel is ducked by Zayar Salemi who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Emanuel Ahrens tries to find his distance but Zayar Salemi is able to land two looping hooks that stun Emanuel Ahrens, who warily backs away. A welt begins to form under "Grands" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Emanuel Ahrens. Ahrens takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Zayar Salemi connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. "The King of the Ring" hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Ahrens ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Ahrens circles Zayar Salemi, landing jabs and crosses at will. Emanuel Ahrens is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Zayar falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Emanuel attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Emanuel circles Zayar Salemi, mixing jabs with body shots. Emanuel Ahrens connects with a hard punch making Zayar bring him in to a tight clinch. "Grand" grabs the plum and tosses "The King of the Ring" to the ground. Zayar Salemi lays into Emanuel with some stomps. Emanuel can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
