Round 1 Athanas weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. "of Earl CC" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Coleman and Athanas begin to trade strikes. Athanas lands a jab, cross. Coleman connects with a body shot followed by a hook. Coleman gains a muay-thai clinch and lands some hard hooks. He then pulls Athanass head to a strong knee strike, knocking him to the floor. Coleman kicks at the legs of Cosmas and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Cosmas to stand. A powerful elbow has Cosmas Athanas stepping back dazed. "of Earl CC" lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses Cosmas Athanas to the ground. Duke dances around Cosmas Athanass legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. Duke grabs a foot and kicks at Cosmas Athanass thighs. He then backs off and Athanas stands back up. Duke lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Cosmas circling away. Coleman throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Cosmas Athanas. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Athanas feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Duke. Athanas dives into guard. "of Earl CC" gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "of Earl CC" defends short shots well by turning his head. Cosmas attempts to get a leg free to pass but "of Earl CC" has it locked down too well. Cosmas Athanas presses his foot onto the thigh of "of Earl CC" to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Cosmas lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Cosmas slides his knee across the body of "of Earl CC" and takes full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "of Earl CC" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Both fighters begin to exchange Cosmas Athanas catches Duke with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Duke gather himself. Duke says he is ok and the fight continues. Duke dodges a jab and clinches with Cosmas Athanas, delivering a knee as he does so. A shot from Cosmas is countered by a guillotine from "of Earl CC". Cosmas follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Coleman takes a few knees to the body while under Cosmass side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Cosmas Athanas circles Duke Coleman, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Coleman locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Cosmas. Coleman connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Cosmas is dazed on the mat. Duke lays into Cosmas Athanass thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Cosmas does so. After dodging a jab, Coleman lands a kick to the liver of Athanas who steps back only to take a knee. Coleman rushes forward to capitalize but Athanas falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Coleman pounces on Cosmas, but is met with a powerful upkick. Coleman manages to land into side control though. Duke Coleman throws his knee into the ribs of Cosmas Athanas. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 "of Earl CC" dodges a jab and clinches with Athanas, delivering a knee as he does so. After dodging a jab, Coleman lands a kick to the ribs of Cosmas who winces in pain. "of Earl CC" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Duke parries Cosmas Athanass jab and connect with a cross. Cosmas parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Cosmas Athanas attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee. Round 5 is finished.
