Round 1
Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Huerta fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kohaku Ishihara. "Blue Dream" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Huerta decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Kohaku with him. Adelmo sinks a deep kimura, but Kohaku Ishihara slides out. This gives Adelmo the chance to switch to half guard. Adelmo Huerta uses the planted arm of Kohaku to push off and get back to guard position. Adelmo locks a triangle but Ishihara defends well. Adelmo decides to let go of the hold. Huerta lands an omoplata but Ishihara rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. Ishihara connects with a jab cross combination. The fighters circle each other. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Ishihara catches a kick from Adelmo and drops down for a leg lock. Adelmo attempts to spin out of it but the lock is still tight. Ishihara moves to a heel hook. Adelmo fights through the attempt and moves to side control. Kohaku is wisely defending a kimura. Adelmo attempts to take it but Kohaku is having none of it, though Adelmo has used the chance the slide into mount. Kohaku attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Kohaku gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Adelmo Huerta locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Kohaku Ishihara. Huerta tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Adelmo takes Kohakus back standing. Adelmo lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Ishihara is able to work his way back around. Adelmo Huerta attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Kohaku pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Kohaku Ishihara is hit with two hard punches to his face. Kohaku Ishihara laughs off the punches. Kohaku throws a cross that easily dodged by "Blue Dream". A welt begins to form under Kohaku Ishiharas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Blue Dream". "Blue Dream" connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ishihara. Adelmo ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Kohaku to the mat, and his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 4
"Blue Dream" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kohaku Ishihara. Adelmo Huerta places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Ishihara attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Adelmo Huerta pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Adelmo presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Ishihara, aggressively pulling guard. Adelmo goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Kohaku slips out at the last second. "Blue Dream" connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Ishihara drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Adelmo Huerta sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
"Blue Dream" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Blue Dream" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. The fighters circle each other. Adelmo snaps back the head of Ishihara with a stiff jab. Round 5 comes to a close.
