Round 1 Mick Swanson connects with a hard punch making Hafiz Doud bring him in to a tight clinch. Mick Swanson works to Hafiz Douds back while standing. Mick Swanson throws a couple of outside shots until Hafiz Doud is able to work his way back to the clinch. While tied up, Mick Swanson is met with a hard uppercut. Mick connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Doud hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Swanson tries to hyperextend the knee of Hafiz Doud with a kick to the kneecap. Hafiz Doud hops back to avoid it. Mick Swanson hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Hafiz is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Mick Swanson explodes with a flurry of punches. Hafiz is then thrown to the floor. Swanson stands over Hafiz, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hafiz cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Mick Swanson hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Doud. Hafiz Doud feints and follows up with a hard cross. Mick Swanson stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Mick Swanson blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Doud tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Doud connects with a strong right hook. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Mick parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Mick ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Hafiz Doud to the mat, and his back. Doud carefully protects himself from Mick Swansons strikes. Hafiz starts to wiggle out of back control, Mick lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mick throws a hard jab but Hafiz throws a cross right over the top rocking Mick. Mick throws a hard jab but Hafiz Doud throws a cross right over the top rocking Mick. Hafiz Doud is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Swanson explodes with a flurry of punches. Hafiz Doud is then thrown to the floor. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Swanson lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Doud. Mick shoots a takedown from a distance putting Doud on the ground. Doud is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Swanson. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Mick Swanson and he traps Hafizs extended leg to move to half guard. Mick attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Hafiz gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Doud holds the head of Mick close to avoid shots. Mick slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Mick Swanson is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Doud weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Mick Swanson blocks a tight hook from Hafiz and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Hafiz stumbling backwards. Mick Swanson stalks him across the canvas. Hafiz lands a hook to the body. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Mick Swanson connects with a jab cross combination. Round 5 is finished.
