Round 1 Khurshid Nafisi connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Teo Vukoja tries to stop a shot with a punch but Nafisi plows through Teo Vukojas attempt and ends up in guard. Teo pulls Khurshid close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Khurshid defends a triangle attempt, throwing "Eklents" straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Vukoja is able to hold him to half guard. Teo tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Teo defends short shots well by turning his head. Nafisi attempts to get a leg free to pass but Teo has it locked down too well. Nafisi presses his foot onto the thigh of Teo Vukoja to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Khurshid Nafisi connects with a strong right hook. "Eklent" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Khurshid Nafisi executes a single leg giving him the back of Teo Vukoja. Khurshid lays into Teo with some strong shots forcing Teo to give up mount position. Nafisi executes a double hand slap to the ears of Teo. Vukoja bucks off Khurshid and both fighters get to their feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Nafisi wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Vukoja. Teo Vukoja almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Nafisi drops some good elbows to the face of "Eklent" forcing him to give up his back. Vukoja starts to wiggle out of back control, Khurshid Nafisi lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Khurshid Nafisi clinches with Teo Vukoja and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Teo Vukoja for a trip takedown, landing Khurshid Nafisi is half guard. Khurshid is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Teo Vukoja gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Vukoja starts to wiggle out of back control, Khurshid Nafisi lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Nafisi throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Teo is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Teo takes a punch and goes to the mat, Nafisi pounces into side control. Teo recovers quickly. Khurshid Nafisi throws a knee into Vukojas ribs. Teo tries to scramble to escape any more punishment but gives up his back in the process. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Teo Vukoja throws a cross that easily dodged by Nafisi. Nafisi connects with a series of punches forcing Teo Vukoja into a clinch. Teo places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. As both fighters jockey in the clinch Vukoja illegally grabs the top of the pants of Khurshid. With his opposite hand he reaches over the attire grab and grabs the back of the thigh of Khurshid. Vukoja dumps him over his own leg to his back finishing an efficient Obi Otoshi. Vukoja drops into side control. Vukoja lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Teo Vukoja lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Khurshid Nafisi gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Teo tries to hyperextend the knee of Khurshid Nafisi with a kick to the kneecap. Khurshid Nafisi hops back to avoid it. Teo Vukoja pressures his opponent into clinching. Teo Vukoja grabs the plum and pulls Khurshid Nafisis face into a powerful knee. Khurshid fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Eklent". "Eklent" takes Nafisis back standing. "Eklent" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Khurshid is able to work his way back around. Both fighters jockeying in the clinch. Vukoja grabs an arm of Khurshid Nafisi turns and dumps him over his body with a Seoi Nage. Vukoja keeps the arm and locks in a lightning fast armbar. Khurshid Nafisi struggles out and scrambles back to the feet. Vukoja sends Khurshid Nafisi to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. The round comes to an end.
