Round 1 Fadey feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Len. Fadey dives into guard. Gerasimov keeps his head down in the chest of Len to avoid any submission attempts. Gerasimov leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. "Air Raid" moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. Gerasimov circles Len, landing jabs and crosses at will. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Fadey Gerasimov grabs a single leg and pushes Farmer to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Fadey Gerasimov pie faces Farmer to the ground and into side control. "Air Raid" takes a few knees to the body while under Fadeys side control. Len sneaks a leg back under the body of Gerasimov to achieve a defensive half guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Gerasimov connects with a hard jab as Len attempts a wide outside hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fadey drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Farmer sets a guillotine choke but Fadey slips out at the last moment. Fadey is now caught in guard. Len Farmer attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Fadey connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Air Raid" fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Fadey. Fadey moves in to press the action, but Farmer lands a heavy back kick. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Len Farmer shuffles away from Fadeys strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Fadey backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Fadey lands a double jab. Farmer throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Gerasimov puts Farmer on the mat giving his back up. Len Farmer carefully protects himself from Fadey Gerasimovs strikes. Len starts to wiggle out of back control, Fadey lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Farmer connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Farmer is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 A trip to the ground allows Gerasimov to move into the guard of Len Farmer. Fadey Gerasimov pushes down Farmers leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Farmer attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Farmer attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Len Farmer gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Farmer carefully protects himself from Fadey Gerasimovs strikes. Fadey attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "Air Raid" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Fadey stuffs a shot from Len Farmer and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Fadey Gerasimov slides his knee across the body of Farmer and takes full mount. Len Farmer attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Gerasimov telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Farmer gives up his back to stop the attempt. Len carefully protects himself from Gerasimovs strikes. Len tripods up, causing Fadey Gerasimov to fall forward. As Fadey Gerasimov tries to scramble up Len lands a lunging hook, putting Fadey Gerasimov on the ground. Len stands up and looks to the ref to force Fadey Gerasimov into standing. The ref does not comply. The round comes to an end.
