Round 1 Omari hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Clarence Coleman. Omari narrowly dodges a cross from Coleman, but falls catching him in his guard. Omari dodges some ground strikes from Coleman, and sends a few back of his own. Clarence presses the action while in the guard, but Hill is able to switch him into mount. Hill punishes Clarence with a series of strikes from the mount. Clarence Coleman bucks off Omari and both fighters get to their feet. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Hill. Clarence stands up, lifting the leg of Hill and executing a trip takedown. Omari fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Clarence Coleman. Omari backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Omari Hill connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Coleman. Coleman connects with numerous jabs to the face of Hill. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Clarence wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Omari Hill. Clarence Coleman wraps the arm of Omari behind his back and traps it. Clarence Coleman pounds away with shots to the face. Clarence Coleman slides his knee across the body of Omari and takes full mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Coleman connects with jab cross combination. A wild hook from Omari is ducked by Coleman who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Omari is staggered by a jab to the chin. Clarence lands a double jab. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Hill wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Clarence. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Both fighters begin to exchange Clarence catches Omari with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Omari gather himself. Omari says he is ok and the fight continues. Clarence fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Omari. Coleman escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Hill connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Coleman connects with a series of punches forcing Omari into a clinch. Clarence Coleman drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Hill attempts a kimura from the bottom. Clarence Coleman blocks the attempt and smothers Hill to force him to let go of Colemans arm. A can opener from Coleman opens up Hills guard. Clarence presses his foot onto the thigh of Omari Hill to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Coleman drops some hammer fists on Hill. Clarence Coleman delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Omari Hill to turn over. Clarence Coleman takes the back. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Hill throws a cross that easily dodged by Clarence Coleman. Clarence Coleman parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Omari Hill connects with jab cross combination. Omari clinches with Coleman and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Coleman for a trip takedown, landing Omari is half guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
