Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. A trip to the ground allows Shiganori to move into the guard of Jima Kebede. Shiganori tries to pass guard but "Greywind" stops him with a well timed punch. Susumu takes advantage of a mental laps from Jima and moves into full mount. Kebede gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Susumu Shiganori locks in a rear naked choke, "Greywind" is fighting off the choke and gives a thumbs up to the referee. After a few more seconds of control time Susumu Shiganori gives up the choke. "Greywind" is able to make it back to the standing position. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. While tied up, Jima is met with a hard uppercut. Shiganori blocks a cross, liver shot combo but is pushed backward. Jima tries to press the action but is met with a jab, cross, uppercut that puts him to on the floor. Shiganori kicks at the legs of Jima and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Jima to stand. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Shiganori fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Jima up for a flurry of hooks. "Greywind" attempts a takedown, but Shiganori clumsily falls down without much provocation. Kebede stands over Shiganori, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Shiganori is able to grab an arm and pull Kebede into his guard. Susumu backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "Greywind" stuffs a shot from Susumu Shiganori and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Shiganori is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Kebede. Susumu attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Shiganori connects with jab cross combination. A trip to the ground allows Susumu Shiganori to move into the guard of Kebede. Jima Kebede connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Susumu Shiganori presses the action while in the guard, but Jima Kebede is able to switch him into mount. Jima secures his position. Susumu Shiganori throws a leg off and reaches around the back of Jima capturing back control. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Susumu grabs for a clinch but Jima Kebede grazes him with an uppercut. Susumu staggers back, then surprises Jima Kebede with a powerful superman punch. Susumu connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Susumu Shiganori connects with a teep to the face of Kebede. A looping right hook from "Greywind" sends Susumu to the mat.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Susumu Shiganori sends "Greywind" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Susumu tries to pass guard but Jima Kebede stops him with a well timed punch. Shiganori passes through Kebedes guard into mount. Kebede gets pummeled by the fists of Susumu. Kebede gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Shiganori peppers shot to the head of "Greywind" looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but "Greywind" is hand playing well. Jima is able to make it back to the standing position. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Susumu lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Susumu escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Susumu Shiganori parries Jimas jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Jima Kebede. Jima Kebede rolls to his back with Susumu Shiganori standing over him. Susumu kicks at the legs of "Greywind" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Greywind" to stand. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
