Round 1 "The Fiction" sends Kanada to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. A can opener from King opens up Masato Kanadas guard. King lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Tra King is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Tra King punishes Masato with a series of strikes from the mount. Masato Kanada gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Masato Kanada tries to stand up but King plants him back down with several strikes. King peppers Masato with several shots to the face. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A wild hook from Masato Kanada is ducked by King who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Kanada takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. King snaps back the head of Masato with a stiff jab. Tra takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks "MK12" to hit him harder. "The Fiction" snaps back the head of Masato Kanada with a stiff jab. Masato Kanada tries to shoot in but King stuffs it and lifts Masato Kanada up. Masato Kanada flails to avoid a pile driver until King simply dumps him off to the side and towers over him. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 King lands a double jab. "MK12" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Tra peppers "MK12" with several shots to the face. Masato Kanada slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. A wild hook from King is ducked by Kanada who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "The Fiction" throws a push kick. Masato shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Tras nose.
Masato circles Tra King, mixing jabs with body shots. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kanada works Tra into the cage from the clinch. Kanada presses his head under Kings chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Masato escapes the clinch and creates some distance. King takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "The Fiction" snaps back the head of Kanada with a stiff jab. Tra takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Masato to hit him harder. Tra King attempts a takedown but slips, and Masato backs away. Masato is standing over Tra King. Masato attempts to drop a fist on Tra King, but misses and lands in his guard. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 A welt begins to form under Masato Kanadas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Tra. "MK12" circles King, landing jabs and crosses at will. Tra snaps back the head of "MK12" with a stiff jab. Tra shoots in and grabs a single leg. Kanada hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing Tra to release the attempt. Tra fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "MK12" to the cage. "MK12" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Round 5 is over.
