Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Ko pressures his opponent into clinching. Ko works Masaki Kita into the cage from the clinch. Ko presses his head under Masakis chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Masaki attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Heo lands in half guard. "The Anchor" hits Kita with some punches to the side of the head. Masaki is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Heo starts to put on the pressure, forcing "Bounce House" back into the cage. Heo takes advantage and clinches. A rising hip toss puts Kita under Heos side control. Ko lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Ko Heo slides his knee across the body of Kita and takes full mount. "The Anchor" punishes Masaki Kita with a series of strikes from the mount. Masaki attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A welt begins to form under Masaki Kitas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "The Anchor". A wild hook from Masaki Kita is ducked by Heo who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Ko Heo dodges a jab and clinches with Masaki Kita, delivering a knee as he does so. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Anchor" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ko Heo places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Masaki Kita has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes Ko down to the mat, landing in great side control.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Masaki throws a push kick. Heo shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into "Bounce Houses" nose.
A jab from Masaki is blocked and a cross is returned by Ko Heo. Kita pressures his opponent into clinching. "The Anchor" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Heo lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Heo takes the back of Kita who works for a kimura. Heo pulls his arm out of the hold and push Kita away. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Anchor" executes a sweeping throw, planting "Bounce House" on the mat. "The Anchor" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "The Anchor" slides his knee across the body of "Bounce House" and takes full mount. Ko punishes Kita with a series of strikes from the mount. Ko Heo secures his position. Round 5 comes to a close.
