Round 1 "Boogaloo" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Collins sends Brennan to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Joseph is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Sam Collins pushes down "Boogaloos" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Sam attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Brennan gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Joseph tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Collins tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Brennan throws a push kick. Collins shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Brennans nose.
Sam Collins catches a leg kick from Brennan, and puts him on the mat. "Jelly Droolers" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Joseph Brennan slips out of it at the last moment. Sam Collins defends a triangle attempt, throwing Joseph Brennans straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Brennan is able to hold him to half guard. Sam attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Brennan gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Sam slams his knee into "Boogaloos" ribs. Sam Collins is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Joseph connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Sam connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Boogaloo" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Sam Collins puts "Boogaloo" on the mat giving his back up. Giving up his back, "Boogaloo" panics and gives up mount instead. Collins maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Joseph gets pummeled by the fists of Collins. Joseph gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Sam Collins connects with a series of punches forcing Brennan into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "Jelly Droolers" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Joseph standing over him. Brennan attempts to drop a fist on Collins, but misses and lands in his guard. Joseph Brennan drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Collins fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Joseph. "Jelly Droolers" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Joseph slips out at the last second. Sam Collins begins to posture on his side. Brennan lands a couple of outside hooks and Sam Collins returns to the guard.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 A welt begins to form under Sams eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Joseph Brennan. Joseph Brennan attempts a takedown but slips, and Sam backs away. Sam is standing over Joseph Brennan. Sam hovers over Joseph pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Sam waves for Joseph to stand up. "Boogaloo" attempts a takedown but slips, and Sam Collins backs away. Sam Collins is standing over "Boogaloo". Sam Collins stands over "Boogaloo", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Boogaloo" is able to grab an arm and pull Sam Collins into his guard. "Boogaloo" locks a triangle but Sam defends well. "Boogaloo" continues the attempt but finally decides to let go. Sam Collinss face is red from the choke and sits low in the guard to catch his breath. "Boogaloo" pulls Sam Collins close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Round 5 comes to a close.
