Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Howard places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Robbie breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Howard connects with a series of punches forcing Gene Russell into a clinch. Gene receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Robbie Howard. Howard escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Gene parries Robbies jab and connect with a cross. "Super Saiyan" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Robbie Howard keeps Gene Russell at a distance with some well timed jabs. Robbie connects with a right that puts Gene off balance tumbling to the mat, as Robbie towers over him. A stomp attempt from Russell is countered by a leg trap and attempted lock from Howard. Russell is barely able to struggle out and back to standing. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Robbie moves in to press the action, but Gene Russell lands a heavy back kick. Robbie connects with a series of punches forcing Russell into a clinch. Robbie decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Gene with him. While in the guard, Gene drops a long punch. Robbie throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Gene has no choice but to submit.
