Round 1
"The Usual" is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. "ShoGun" explodes with a flurry of punches. "The Usual" is then thrown to the floor. Ruas drops a huge strike to "The Usuals" chin, landing into his guard. Tom shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Vitor Ruas passes through Joness guard into mount. Tom shifts his head and hips to keep Vitor off balance and unable to land strikes. Tom gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Tom eats a few stiff shots from "ShoGun", and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. "ShoGun" telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Jones gives up his back to stop the attempt. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
Vitor fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Jones. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Vitor Ruas attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "The Usual" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Jones presses forward and grazes Ruas with a combo. Ruas wants none of the stand up and clinches with Jones to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Ruas drops a huge strike to Tom Joness chin, landing into his guard. Vitor Ruas takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Toms guard. It doesn't pay off as Tom makes his way to standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces "The Usual" back to the corner. "ShoGun" swims to double underhooks. "The Usual" cannot stop "ShoGun" from stepping back and taking him to the floor. "The Usual" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Vitor drops a few strong punches, opening up Joness guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Vitor snaps back the head of Tom Jones with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. "The Usual" connects with a series of punches forcing Ruas into a clinch. While tied up, Jones is met with a hard uppercut. Vitor Ruas narrowly dodges a cross from Jones, but falls catching him in his guard. Tom takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "ShoGuns" guard. It doesn't pay off as Ruas makes his way to standing. Tom Jones narrowly dodges a cross from Ruas, but falls catching him in his guard. Tom Jones sets in an omaplata, forcing "ShoGun" to roll through, giving Tom Jones side control. Tom lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "ShoGun" attempts to escape side control, but Jones spins to north south and executes a beatiful choke tapping "ShoGun" out.
