Round 1 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Brown. Tom stands up, lifting the leg of Brown and executing a trip takedown. While caught in Browns guard, Tom Jones gets hit with a vicious elbow. Tom takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Traviss guard. It doesn't pay off as "Downtown Julie" makes his way to standing. Jones keeps Travis Brown at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Downtown Julie" is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Downtown Julie" loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Jones for the mistake. Jones has side control. Travis almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "Downtown Julie" takes a few knees to the body while under "The Usuals" side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Travis fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Tom Jones. Brown works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "The Usual" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Brown takes Jones down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Jones. Brown drops a huge strike to "The Usuals" chin, landing into his guard. Travis takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Joness guard. It doesn't pay off as Tom makes his way to standing. Brown takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Tom Joness guard. Tom Jones goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Travis slips out at the last second. Tom Jones attempts an armbar. Brown time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Toms guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Travis takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Tom Jones connects with a series of punches forcing Travis Brown into a clinch. Travis attempts to grab the plum but Jones takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Travis. Jones takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Traviss guard. It doesn't pay off as Travis makes his way to standing. Tom Jones narrowly dodges a cross from "Downtown Julie", but falls catching him in his guard. Travis Brown tries to pass guard but Tom stops him with a well timed punch. Brown tries to pass guard but Jones stops him with a well timed punch. Tom Jones is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Brown transitions to half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
