The fighters circle each other. Chepito keeps Nobu Makino at a distance with some well timed jabs. Chavez connects with a series of punches forcing Makino into a clinch. Chepito Chavez escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Nobu narrowly dodges a cross from "Choo Choo", but falls catching him in his guard. "Choo Choo" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Makinos guard. It doesn't pay off as Nobu Makino makes his way to standing. Chepito Chavez narrowly dodges a cross from Nobu, but falls catching him in his guard. Chepito Chavez sets in an omaplata, forcing Nobu Makino to roll through, giving Chepito Chavez side control. Makino takes a few knees to the body while under Chepito Chavezs side control. Makino attempts to escape side control, but Chepito Chavez spins to north south and executes a beatiful choke tapping Makino out.
