Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Stewart receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Hiroyuki Shiotani escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A looping right hook from Hiroyuki sends Stewart to the mat. Hiroyuki drops a huge strike to "Odysseuss" chin, landing into his guard. Hiroyuki takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Otto Stewarts guard. It doesn't pay off as Stewart makes his way to standing. Hiroyuki catches a leg kick from Stewart, and puts him on the mat. Hiroyuki Shiotani attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Otto slips out of it at the last moment. "Tsunami" presses the action while in the guard, but Otto is able to switch him into mount. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Stewart snaps back the head of Hiroyuki with a stiff jab. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Shiotani, but Otto Stewart is able to muscle through for a takedown. Stewart attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Shiotani slips out of it at the last moment. Shiotani sinks a deep kimura, but "Odysseus" slides out. This gives Shiotani the chance to switch to half guard. Otto Stewart tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "Tsunami" hits an upward elbow on "Odysseus", and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though "Odysseus" takes side control. "Tsunami" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Hiroyuki starts to wiggle out of back control, Otto lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Odysseus" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hiroyuki. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
The fighters circle each other. Otto Stewart narrowly dodges a cross from Shiotani, but falls catching him in his guard. Otto is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Hiroyuki Shiotani. "Tsunami" pushes down Stewarts leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Hiroyuki tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Shiotani tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Hiroyuki slips out of half guard and into side control. The round comes to an end.
