Round 1 "DBA" snaps back the head of Thompson with a stiff jab. "Slick" attempts to clinch, but "DBA" connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Sid Thompson is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Sid Thompson can continue. Sid Thompson attempts to clinch, but Mitsuru connects with an uppercut to the jaw. "Slick" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. "Slick" throws a cross that easily dodged by Mitsuru Tayama. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "DBA" connects with a series of punches forcing "Slick" into a clinch. "Slick" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "DBA" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Sid Thompson is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. "DBA" lands a solid kick to the front leg of "Slick". The fighters circle each other. Thompson connects with a right that puts "DBA" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Thompson towers over him. Sid drops a huge strike to Tayamas chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sid places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Tayama grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Sid Thompson on the floor. "DBA" drops a huge strike to Sids chin, landing into his guard. Mitsuru Tayama tries to pass guard but Thompson stops him with a well timed punch. Mitsuru drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Sid Thompson shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Thompsons guard and Tayama is able to move to half guard. The round comes to an end.
