Round 1 Vazquez connects with a series of punches forcing Bert into a clinch. "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Checos strikes. Checo Vazquez dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" standing over him. Reed attempts to drop a fist on Checo, but misses and lands in his guard. Checo shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Reed tries to pass guard but Vazquez stops him with a well timed punch. Bert tries to pass guard but Checo Vazquez stops him with a well timed punch. Checo shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Bert is staggered by a jab to the chin. Checo Vazquez ducks and weaves through a quick combo from "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Bert Reed attempts a lazy shot, which Checo sprawls, eventually taking Bert Reed back. Vazquez lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" to roll to his back, giving Vazquez mount. Checo secures his position. Bert attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Reed shoots a takedown from a distance putting "Alt 1" on the ground. Reed attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Checo Vazquez slips out of it at the last moment. Vazquez backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Vazquez eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bert. Checo parries Bert Reeds jab and connect with a cross. Checo Vazquez takes a punch and goes to the mat, "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" pounces into side control. Checo Vazquez recovers quickly. "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" attempts an armbar, but "Alt 1" stops the attempt. "Mortalitas ALTERNATE" uses the oppurtunity to take mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
