Round 1 Narahashi connects with a strong right hook. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Norm, but Minoru is able to muscle through for a takedown. Minoru Narahashi drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Minoru pushes down Robinsons leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Narahashi tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Minoru slips out of half guard and into side control. Norm gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Norm starts to wiggle out of back control, Minoru lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The fighters circle each other. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Norm Robinson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Norm Robinson breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Robinson is staggered by a jab to the chin. Robinson keeps Narahashi at a distance with some well timed jabs. Norm Robinson circles Minoru Narahashi, landing jabs at will. Minoru begins a combination but Robinson ducks down, picking Narahashis leg. Robinson lifts Narahashis leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Narahashi thrusts his leg into Robinsons knee while grounded. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Robinson lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Narahashi takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Minoru snaps back the head of Norm with a stiff jab. Robinson throws a cross that easily dodged by Minoru. Narahashi begins a combination but Norm ducks down, picking Narahashis leg. Norm lifts Narahashis leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. The round comes to an end.
