Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Chad McConomy is defended well by Sal. Round 2 "Drunken Millionaire " connects with a series of punches forcing McConomy into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. McConomy grabs the plum and tosses Sal Jones to the ground. Chad attempts to drop a fist on "Drunken Millionaire ", but misses and lands in his guard. A right hand from Sal Joness guard angers Chad who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Chad McConomy pulls out of the guard of Jones, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Jones. McConomy tries to pass guard but Sal Jones stops him with a well timed punch. Chad pushes down "Drunken Millionaire s" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Chad parries "Drunken Millionaire s" jab and connect with a cross. Sal is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Sal can continue. Sal is struck by a ball kick from Chad that causes him to stumble backwards. "Drunken Millionaire " begins a combination but Chad ducks down, picking Sals leg. Chad lifts Sals leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
