Round 1 Popham narrowly dodges a cross from Albright, but falls catching him in his guard. Duke Popham is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Owen transitions to half guard. Owen Albright slams his knee into Dukes ribs. Duke Popham hits an upward elbow on "MCCrippler", and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though "MCCrippler" takes side control. Duke almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. A series of strong hammerfists forces Duke Popham to roll over, giving up his back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Duke Popham keeps "MCCrippler" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Albright throws a cross that easily dodged by Duke. Owen Albright ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Duke Popham and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Duke snaps back the head of Owen Albright with a stiff jab. "MCCrippler" circles Duke, landing jabs at will. "MCCrippler" catches a leg kick from Popham, and puts him on the mat. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Duke Popham snaps back the head of Owen Albright with a stiff jab. Duke Popham stuffs a shot from "MCCrippler" and hits him with an outside body shot. "MCCrippler" gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Popham attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Owen slips out of it at the last moment. Popham pushes down "MCCripplers" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Popham tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. "MCCrippler" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Duke tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The round comes to an end.
