Round 1 Thomas connects with a series of punches forcing Harris into a clinch. Barry Thomas works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Teddy Harris escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Barry Thomas is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Barry Thomas can continue. Teddy takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Teddy Harris is staggered by a jab to the chin. Barry parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. A solid kick bruises the leg of Barry. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. Thomas connects with a series of punches forcing Teddy into a clinch. Harris attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Barry pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Barry fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Harris to a corner. Harris swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Barry takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Teddy Harriss guard. It doesn't pay off as Teddy makes his way to standing. Barry Thomas narrowly dodges a cross from Teddy, but falls catching him in his guard. Barry Thomas sets in an omaplata, forcing Teddy Harris to roll through, giving Barry Thomas side control. Barry lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Barry Thomas throws his knee into the ribs of Harris. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Harris. Barry stands up, lifting the leg of Harris and executing a trip takedown. Barry drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Barry Thomas takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Teddy Harriss guard. It doesn't pay off as Teddy Harris makes his way to standing. Teddy throws a cross that easily dodged by Barry Thomas. The fighters circle each other. Barry Thomas wraps around Teddys waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Teddy takes a few knees to the body while under Barrys side control. Harris gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
