Round 1 James Bryant fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Stewart. Stewart lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Stewart recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Stewart is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. James Bryant drops a huge strike to Stewarts chin, landing into his guard. James takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Reeds guard. It doesn't pay off as Reed makes his way to standing. A shot catches Stewart Reed off balance and off guard. James Bryant spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. A right hand from Reed while in guard angers Bryant who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. James lands an intense elbow that has Stewart Reed rocked. James lands an outside strike as he moves into side mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Bryant works Stewart Reed into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Bryant presses his head into Stewarts chest, forcing him to the ground. Stewart attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Bryant is too quick and takes half guard. Bryant is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Bryant punishes Reed with a series of strikes from the mount. Stewart Reed gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Reed tries to explode out the backdoor but Bryant sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Reed falls flat to protect himself. Stewart eats a few stiff shots from Bryant, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Bryant fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Stewart Reed. James Bryant places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. James Bryant dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Stewart standing over him. Stewart Reed attempts to drop a fist on James, but misses and lands in his guard. Bryant lands a stiff elbow while on his back. James Bryant shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. While caught in Jamess guard, Reed gets hit with a vicious elbow. Bryant gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
