Round 1
Rudy attempts a striking combination, but Derrick Cherry forces the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. While tied up, Parent is met with a hard uppercut. Rudy Parent throws a cross that easily dodged by Derrick. Derrick Cherry parries Rudy Parents jab and connect with a cross. Derrick blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Rudy Parent tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Parent lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from Derrick that puts him on the floor. Derrick lays into Rudys thighs with some well timed kicks while Rudy is grounded. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Derrick is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Rudy. Cherry is staggered by a jab to the chin. Derrick lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Rudy. Rudy Parent lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Derrick. Rudy Parent lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Cherry loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Rudy for the mistake. Rudy has side control.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Cherry takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Parent dodges a jab-cross combo from Derrick Cherry and connects with a front snap kick, sending Derrick Cherry stumbling backwards. Parent lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Parent throws a kick to the midsection of Derrick. Rudy Parent weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. A shot from Derrick is countered by a guillotine choke from Rudy Parent. Derrick is forced to tap out.
