Round 1
Gamboa throws a cross that easily dodged by Fortin. A single-leg attempt is well defended by "Afro Samurai ". Tra Fortin stands up, lifting the leg of "Afro Samurai " and executing a trip takedown. Tra tries to pass guard but "Afro Samurai " stops him with a well timed punch. Louis gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "Afro Samurai " tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Tra Fortin tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Tra Fortin slams his knee into Louiss ribs. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Tra keeps Gamboa at a distance with some well timed jabs. Gamboa is staggered by a jab to the chin. Gamboa connects with a series of punches forcing Fortin into a clinch. Louis Gamboa attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Fortin pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Louis Gamboa narrowly dodges a cross from Tra Fortin, but falls catching him in his guard. Fortin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Louiss guard. It doesn't pay off as Gamboa makes his way to standing. Louis sends Fortin to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Tra sets in an omaplata, forcing Louis Gamboa to roll through, giving Tra side control. "Future of MMA" throws his knee into the ribs of "Afro Samurai ". Fortin switches his posture a bit, and sets in an arm triangle choke. Louis turns purple then taps out.
