Round 1
Valerii shoots a takedown from a distance putting Angus on the ground. Voronin tries to pass guard but "Prime Beef" stops him with a well timed punch. Angus backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. King throws a cross that easily dodged by Valerii. Valerii keeps Angus King at a distance with some well timed jabs. King attempts to press in but Valerii Voronin uses a inside reaping to put King on the canvas. Valerii Voronin hops to side control. Valerii Voronin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "Prime Beef" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Valerii Voronin connects with a series of punches forcing King into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "The Simple Giant" attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Angus standing over him. King attempts to drop a fist on "The Simple Giant", but misses and lands in his guard. "The Simple Giant" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Prime Beef" slips out at the last second. Valerii Voronin connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Voronin lands a stiff elbow while on his back. While in the guard, King drops a long punch. Valerii Voronin throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. King has no choice but to submit.
