Round 1
Del is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Joey Joe Joe Junior " narrowly dodges a cross from Del Patterson, but falls catching him in his guard. "Joey Joe Joe Junior " lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Del presses the action while in the guard, but Jason is able to switch him into mount. Jason secures his position. Johnson throws some outside strikes at Del. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
A single-leg attempt is well defended by Patterson. Jason stands up, lifting the leg of Patterson and executing a trip takedown. A kimura attempt is defended well by "Joey Joe Joe Junior " and he is able to sneak his leg through Pattersons loose guard, to half guard. "Joey Joe Joe Junior " tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Johnson slips out of half guard and into side control. "Joey Joe Joe Junior " drops some hammer fists on Del. A series of strong hammerfists forces Patterson to roll over, giving up his back. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Johnson circles Patterson, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Patterson connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle each other. Jason Johnson connects with a strong right hook. Del circles Jason, landing jabs at will. A shot from "Joey Joe Joe Junior " is countered by a guillotine choke from Del Patterson. "Joey Joe Joe Junior " is forced to tap out.
