Round 1 Grant eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "Dough Boy". The fighters circle each other. Grant gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Grant carefully protects himself from Turners strikes. Grant Hall starts to wiggle out of back control, "Dough Boy" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bif Turner is staggered by a jab to the chin. Bif Turner snaps back the head of Grant Hall with a stiff jab. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "Dough Boy" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hall catches a leg kick from Turner, and puts him on the mat. Grant Hall drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Grant and he traps Bif Turners extended leg to move to half guard. Hall tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Grant Hall slips out of half guard and into side control. Turner gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Bif starts to wiggle out of back control, Grant lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Grant Hall shoots a takedown from a distance putting Turner on the ground. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Grant fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bif. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. A strong elbow forces "Dough Boy" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Grant drops a huge strike to Bifs chin, landing into his guard. Grant Hall drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Bif Turner attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Grant slips out at the last moment. Hall tries to pass guard but "Dough Boy" stops him with a well timed punch. Turner lands an omoplata but Grant Hall rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. The bell signals the end of round 3.
