Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Troy Gray attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Petes strikes. Pete attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Gray pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Troy presses forward and grazes Pete with a combo. Pete wants none of the stand up and clinches with Troy to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Pete drops a huge strike to Troys chin, landing into his guard. Pete Rowly takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Grays guard. It doesn't pay off as "Bloody Elbows" makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Troy Gray, but Pete is able to muscle through for a takedown. Pete dodges a few strikes from Gray and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Gray is starting to bleed over his left eye. Rowly knocks the wind out of Gray with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Troy Gray. "PandaMan" stands up, lifting the leg of Troy Gray and executing a trip takedown. Pete pushes down Troys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Rowly slams his knee into Grays ribs. Pete Rowly slips out of half guard and into side control. "Bloody Elbows" takes a few knees to the body while under "PandaMans" side control. Troy Gray takes a few knees to the body while under Rowlys side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Rowly eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Troy. "Bloody Elbows" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "PandaMan". Gray drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Rowly sets a guillotine choke but Gray slips out at the last moment. Gray is now caught in guard. Troy Gray takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "PandaMans" guard. It doesn't pay off as "PandaMan" makes his way to standing. Troy narrowly dodges a cross from Rowly, but falls catching him in his guard. Pete Rowly tries to pass guard but Gray stops him with a well timed punch. Pete rains down hammer fists. Troy attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
