Round 1 Del lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Del connects with a series of punches forcing Robert Wright into a clinch. Del Patterson is in the clinch with Robert, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Patterson takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Robert Wrights guard. It doesn't pay off as Robert Wright makes his way to standing. Patterson narrowly dodges a cross from Robert Wright, but falls catching him in his guard. Del shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Wright drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Round 2 Wright is staggered by a jab to the chin. Del ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Robert is staggered by a jab to the chin. Del Patterson shoots a takedown from a distance putting Robert Wright on the ground. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Robert Wright throws a cross that easily dodged by Del. Patterson narrowly dodges a cross from Robert, but falls catching him in his guard. Del connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Robert Wright eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then swithced, giving Del Patterson full mount.
