Round 1 Hawk Cherry is staggered by a jab to the chin. Lundy narrowly dodges a cross from Cherry, but falls catching him in his guard. Lundy shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "DBA " presses the action while in the guard, but Lundy is able to switch him into mount. "DBA " attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Cherry gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Lundy is struck by a ball kick from Cherry that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Lundy connects with a series of punches forcing Cherry into a clinch. Hawk Lundy decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Cherry with him. Hawk Lundy attempts an ambar from the guard. Hawk Cherry defends it but is switched to mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Hawk Cherry throws a kick to the midsection of Lundy. Lundy eats a stiff kick to the face. "DBA " is staggered by a jab to the chin. Hawk Lundy takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Lundy keeps Hawk Cherry at a distance with some well timed jabs. Lundy throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Cherry puts Lundy on the mat giving his back up. The bell signals the end of round 3.
