Ovchinnikov chips away at Rube with a series of kicks to the legs. Feliks keeps Rube Lee at a distance with some well timed jabs. Feliks Ovchinnikov lands a solid kick to the front leg of Lee. Ovchinnikov gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Rube places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Rube Lee escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A jab from Rube is blocked and a cross is returned by Feliks Ovchinnikov. Ovchinnikov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rube Lee grabs for a clinch but Feliks grazes him with an uppercut. Rube Lee staggers back, then surprises Feliks with a powerful superman punch. Feliks is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Lee drops a huge strike to Ovchinnikovs chin, landing into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ovchinnikov connects with a strong right hook. Rube Lee attempts to clinch, but Feliks Ovchinnikov connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Rube Lee unleashes a flurry of punches on Ovchinnikov. Feliks Ovchinnikov lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Rube is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ovchinnikov snaps back the head of Rube Lee with a stiff jab. Ovchinnikov lands a solid kick to the front leg of Lee. Feliks circles Rube Lee, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Rube throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Ovchinnikov. Feliks Ovchinnikov attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Lee takes advantage of the moment taking side control. The round comes to an end.
