Round 2 "trainer" keeps Derrell at a distance with some well timed jabs. Mason is staggered by a jab to the chin. Mason Young gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Cox peppers Mason Young with several shots to the face. Mason Young starts to wiggle out of back control, Derrell Cox lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Cox circles Mason, landing jabs and crosses at will. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Mason. Derrell Cox stands up, lifting the leg of Mason and executing a trip takedown. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Derrell stuff a shot from Young and lands several shots to the body. Young attempts to pull guard but Derrell pushes his way to half guard. Derrell Cox slips out of half guard and into side control. Cox drops some hammer fists on "trainer". Mason gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Derrell spins around to take it, Mason makes his way back to his feet. Derrell Cox takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in "trainers" guard. Derrell dodges a few strikes from Young and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Derrell Cox rains down hammer fists. "trainer" is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Round 3 is finished.
