Gan tries to pass guard but Cameron stops him with a well timed punch. Cameron begins to work the rubber guard. Wood tries to pass guard but Cameron stops him with a well timed punch. Cameron sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Taylor shoots in on Gan Wood who sprawls well and lands multiple outside strikes. Taylor gives up on the shot and rolls to his guard. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Wood but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Gan receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Cameron Taylor. Cameron has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes Gan down to the mat, landing in great side control. Cameron Taylor slides his knee across the body of Gan and takes full mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Wood circles Cameron Taylor, landing jabs at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Gan Wood places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cameron Taylor escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Cameron Taylor attempts to clinch, but Gan Wood connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Cameron Taylor is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Gan Wood. Cameron snaps back the head of Wood with a stiff jab. Gan Wood connects with a right that puts Cameron Taylor off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gan Wood towers over him. The bell signals the end of round 3.
