Round 1
Espinoza is staggered by a jab to the chin. Miguel attempts a striking combination, but JC forces the clinch. JC escapes the clinch and creates some distance. JC McDonald throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. JC McDonald executes a sweeping throw, planting Espinoza on the mat. McDonald lands a few stiff elbows from side control. JC slides his knee across the body of Miguel and takes full mount. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
A couple of powerful body shots forces JC McDonald back to the corner. Espinoza swims to double underhooks. JC McDonald cannot stop Espinoza from stepping back and taking him to the floor. A right hand from JC while in guard angers Espinoza who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Espinoza takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in JC McDonalds guard. It doesn't pay off as McDonald makes his way to standing. Miguel Espinoza parries "Road Pigs" jab and connect with a cross. The fighters circle each other. Miguel Espinoza stuffs a shot from JC McDonald and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. JC McDonald takes a few knees to the body while under Miguel Espinozas side control. A series of strong hammerfists forces JC to roll over, giving up his back. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
JC is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Miguel Espinoza. Miguel Espinoza now has side control. Espinoza attempts an armbar, but "Road Pig" stops the attempt. Espinoza uses the oppurtunity to take mount. JC McDonald attempts to escape mount but has no luck. JC gives his back up trying to escape the mount. JC carefully protects himself from Miguel Espinozas strikes. Miguel lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Road Pig" to roll to his back, giving Miguel mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
