Valdez attempts a lazy shot, which Hughes sprawls, eventually taking Valdez back. "White" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Beto Valdez starts to wiggle out of back control, Vernon Hughes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Vernon circles Beto, landing jabs and crosses at will. Beto Valdez narrowly dodges a cross from Hughes, but falls catching him in his guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Vernon shoots a takedown from a distance putting Beto Valdez on the ground. Vernon Hughes drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Vernon takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Betos guard. It doesn't pay off as Beto Valdez makes his way to standing. Valdez throws a cross that easily dodged by "White". "White" parries Valdezs jab and connect with a cross. A shot from Vernon Hughes is countered by a guillotine from Beto. Vernon Hughes follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Hughes drops some hammer fists on Valdez. Hughes drops some hammer fists on Beto. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Vernon Hughes parries Betos jab and connect with a cross. Vernon circles Valdez, landing jabs at will. Valdez throws a cross that easily dodged by Vernon. Beto Valdez throws a cross that easily dodged by "White". Beto takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 3 is over.
