Round 1 Lewis is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. BJ drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Lewis backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Lewis is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ashton throws a cross that easily dodged by BJ Martin. Ashton Lewis rushes in a little too quick and Martin uses it to his advantage, stepping back and using an advanced side drop ending with Ashton Lewis under side control gasping for air. Lewis takes a few knees to the body while under "from your GFs" side control. Lewis takes a few knees to the body while under Martins side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. BJ Martin connects with a series of punches forcing Ashton Lewis into a clinch. Martin hops up throwing his leg over Lewiss arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Ashton Lewis to the mat. Ashton Lewis slips out of the hold. "from your GF" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Lewis lands a hook to the body. Ashton lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles BJ. Ashton then switch kicks BJ on the opposing rib. Lewis connects with a strong right hook. Ashton Lewis lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Ashton Lewis is staggered by a jab to the chin. Lewis is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. BJ Martin tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Lewis that puts him on the floor. The bell signals the end of round 3.
